Sugey Torres is a 29-year-old Colombian artist, a professional social communicator, with a distinguished career in the artistic and musical fields. For more than fifteen years, she has been involved in important cultural and television productions in Colombia, standing out as a dancer, singer, and actress.

Her dance talent led her to star in the music video “El Mar de Sus Ojos” by Carlos Vives and “Chocquibtown,” and to be part of Carlos Vives’ Más Corazón Profundo tour in Colombia. She also joined the dance troupe and choirs of Canal Caracol, participating in reality shows such as “Yo Me Llamo” and “La Voz Colombia.”

As a singer, she worked at the Gaira restaurant, owned by Carlos Vives, where she participated in the children’s musical “Pombo Musical.” She was a contestant on the reality show “A Otro Nivel” and has also ventured into modeling at events such as Bogotá Fashion Week. She represented the department of Cundinamarca in the “Rumbo a Miss Universo” pageant.

She has collaborated with producers such as Juan Pablo Vega and artists such as Salomón Beda, Kurt, Manuel Medrano, and Santiago Cruz, strengthening her studio experience and musical identity. In the audiovisual field, she has lent her voice to songs for renowned series such as Ana de Nadie, Manes, Arelys Henao, and Ventino, broadcast on national channels and international platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

One of the highlights of her career was performing the voice of the character Luisa Madrigal in the Latin American Spanish version of Disney’s Oscar-nominated film Encanto.

In recent years, she has been part of renowned artist Jorge Celedón’s musical team as a backing vocalist, with whom she has toured more than 20 countries, promoting traditional Colombian music on international stages and participating in several of his albums.

Currently, Sugey Torres is developing his first solo album under the direction and mentorship of renowned artist Noel Schajris, member of Sin Bandera, as part of the Dynamo Productions label, with whom he will release his first album as a singer in August 2025, with the goal of projecting his career internationally.
